I was sad to hear that the great Will Elder died last Wednesday, at the age of 87.
Above is an example* of his exquisite work on 'Little Annie Fanny'; created (along with the peerless Harvey Kurtzman) for Hugh Hefner and Playboy - and recognised as the first fully painted American comic strip.
