A woman who was waiting for the Bali flight. at Hong Kong airport, last August. I suppose you could say she was travelling light - all she had was a hat, an ipod, a book and a bag the size of a pack of cards.

Done in stodgy crayon, pencil and cut-up parts of a magazine* - to accompany a review of (and drawn from the inner sleeve of) Pulp's 'This is Hardcore' LP. So, from 1998, I think.



*Now. Not that it's great (it definitely looks better smaller) but looking back at these 'before I really started using my computer' drawings has made me want to get back to basics; and get some of the texture and feel that comes with pen, ink and paint back into my stuff.
