Done in stodgy crayon, pencil and cut-up parts of a magazine* - to accompany a review of (and drawn from the inner sleeve of) Pulp's 'This is Hardcore' LP. So, from 1998, I think.



*Now. Not that it's great (it definitely looks better smaller) but looking back at these 'before I really started using my computer' drawings has made me want to get back to basics; and get some of the texture and feel that comes with pen, ink and paint back into my stuff.

The article was called 'Generation Sex' (it was about going to a swingers party) and this was my second attempt, after the editor reckoned my first submission was 'much too unprintable'.
